Puppies Behind Bars – The Fence, Brooklyn Bridge Park

puppies_behind_bars

I’m happy to announce that my work, along with those of a great group of photographers, will be unveiled at an outdoor exhibition The Fence at Photoville June 18th in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The Fence was a new happening in New York last summer and a great addition to city’s cultural scene. It was an awesomely fun way to view photography so I’m looking forward to being part of the exhibition this year.

Ascend Charter School Portraits

I’ve always felt that many staff or corporate headshots looked too much like the dreaded passport shot. They had flat, uninteresting lighting and generally didn’t make people look their best. They had a production line quality. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ascend Charter Schools in Brooklyn the past two years on the photography for their website and publications. Since the first set of portraits I’ve done two more sessions to update their website.  They wanted their staff to look friendly and professional and were onboard with the extra attention to detail and lighting to create these images.
